Jana Piper
Jana Piper is a dynamic entrepreneur and the visionary Founder of Emerald Coast Driving School. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, graduating in 1984 she has built remarkable careers across various industries, including real estate, health and wellness, and clothing. Her entrepreneurial journey culminated in the establishment of Emerald Coast Driving School, where she channels her passion for driver education.
Recently appointed as the Southeastern Regional Vice President of the Driving School Association of the Americas, Jana’s leadership and expertise are widely recognized. Her career in driver education began at one of Florida’s largest driving schools, where she excelled as a Regional Director over North Florida and Tampa and extended her influence into the Panhandle. Through strategic hiring, retraining, and service optimization, her dedication enhanced the customer service to a “first in class” standard. Jana’s hands-on approach and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in addressing the critical need for professional driver education within the industry. In December 2022, coordinated efforts with Emma Parker, Co founder, launched Emerald Coast Driving School, which has rapidly expanded its services from Tallahassee to Pensacola. Through continuing education, shared ideas, educational methods, and discovery of the latest in vehicle technology, the school offers top notch comprehensive behind-the-wheel education, tutoring, license revocation and suspension, state compliance and DMV road testing services, ensuring that students receive the highest quality instruction. Jana Piper’s dedication to improving road safety and her innovative business acumen continue to steer the success of Emerald Coast Driving School.

Our vision is to be the movement that makes a difference, steering success and empowering individuals with the necessary life skill of independence. Jana calls this initiative “Wheels to Freedom,” reflecting her belief that driving is more than just transportation; it’s a gateway to opportunity and self-reliance.
When Jana isn’t teaching or leading her team, she can often be found relaxing by the pool.
