*This service bundle is for our Parents In Partnership that have completed the Florida minimum requirements for the graduating licensing law (50 hours Behind the Wheel to include 10 hours of night driving) or for students over the age of 18 as per the DMV guidelines.
This package bundle combines a comprehensive road theory and a solid understanding of road safety principles. We cover the basic fundamentals of driving, wheel control and exposure to street immersion and intersections by maneuvering through various traffic situations. Our focus is to create confidence on a specific skill through guided professional instruction to include lane changes, straight in parking, U-turns, merging and margin management to enhance driving proficiency. This learning experience will also provide a demonstration for the Road Skills Exam maneuvers with the specific posturing required for testing with the Road Skills Exam to follow.
Upon successful completion all results are automatically uploaded to the FLHSMV allowing you to collect your driver's license from your local DMV.
All licenses should be collected within 30 days to avoid a retake, subject to additional testing fees. We do not provide refunds on testing services and missed appointments are subject to a rescheduling fee of $75.00
STUDENT ADVISORY
Completion of driving Instruction with Emerald Coast Driving School does not guarantee the passing of the RSE-road skills exam with the DMV or any Third Party Administrator. *Students must hold a permit for 1 year from the date of issuance prior to testing. unless 18 years of age or older. All permits must be of plastic issuance for identification and NO PAPER PERMITS ARE ACCEPTED. Please collect your license from the DMV, as test results are purged after 30 days and will require a retest with applicable fee.
RANDOM RE-EXAMINATION
Emerald Coast Driving School as a Third Party Administrator advises the applicant and parent or guardian that the applicant may be selected for re-examination at the driver license or tax collector office.
“ALL APPLICANTS ARE SUBJECT TO RANDOM SELECTION FOR RE-EXAMINATION AT THE DRIVER LICENSE OR TAX COLLECTOR OFFICE PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF ANY LICENSE. FAILURE TO PASS THE RANDOM RE-EXAM WILL REQUIRE THE APPLICANT TO PASS THE DRIVING SKILLS EXAM PRIOR TO LICENSE ISSUANCE”
